Instructions
  • Click on the body of the whole ant on the left to zoom in. Only some parts have close-ups.
  • Use the Clues to help you find the locations of the close-ups. You can move your mouse over the clues to see the location of each zoom area. To see a list of body parts associated with the close-ups, see More Clues below.
  • To Zoom In! on the other insects, click on the green button on the left that says "Look At Another Insect."
  • To see this screen at any time, click on the green button that says "Instructions. It will appear any time there's a picture in this frame.
  • To see a larger view of any zoom picture, click on the picture. To return to this page, click the green "Back" button that appears at the bottom of that page.
  • Note: all magnifications (e.g. x3300) are based on an 8x10 inch image.
