Caption: Oceanimonas baumannii - Gram-negative, aerobic, marine, rod prokaryote (bacterium). Oceanimonas baumannii is a gamma Proteobacterium (Protobacteria), capable of utilizing phenol as a sole carbon source. It is found typically in marine environments. Oceanimonas species are closely related to Pseudomonas and Aeromonas, and the genus was created during the taxonomic reorganization of the pseudomonads.
